• Wordpower Tour

  Kathy will be on tour this March as part of the Young Alberta Book Society-Cenovus WORDPOWER event. She'll be visiting schools in the Brooks area of southern Alberta. For more information, check out the YABS website www.yabs.ab.ca

• World Storytelling Day Concert

  T.A.L.E.S. Edmonton presents “Tales From the Woods” a multi-cultural concert featuring Tellers and stories from here, there and everywhere! Music & words combine for a wonderful World Storytelling Day experience. Kathy is the Artistic Director and MC of this concert.

• Story Café

  Kathy hosts a monthly Story Café series featuring storytellers from T.A.L.E.S. Edmonton. The cafes are held the first Thursday of the month (September–June), from 7–9 pm at Rosie’s Bar and Grill, 10475-80th Avenue, Edmonton. $6 cover charge goes to T.A.L.E.S. (The Alberta League Encouraging Storytelling)

  May 3, 2012 Theme: Out of Africa

• The 24th Annual T.A.L.E.S. and Fort Edmonton Park Storytelling Festival

  Kathy will be one of the storytellers featured at this year’s event. The festival includes morning workshops, Sunday evening concert, and afternoon storytelling both days from 1:00–5:00pm on stages throughout the park. Story sets for all ages, performed by members of The Alberta League Encouraging Storytelling (T.A.L.E.S.)
